Arrival is the only paradox.
THRESHOLD ∅ is a research installation occupying the interior volume of a topologically stabilized Einstein-Rosen bridge. The facility does not exist at any fixed coordinate in conventional spacetime. Its location is defined not by position, but by the continuous maintenance of a specific curvature condition.
Entry into the facility produces a retrograde amnesia specific to the transit event. Personnel arrive with no memory of the crossing. This is not a malfunction. This is the expected consequence of passing through a region where causal ordering is undefined. The paradox of entry is structural, not incidental.
Once inside, physics behaves normally. The Standard Model holds. Time flows forward. Gravity operates at 1g in designated habitation zones. The interior is, by every measurable metric, a stable environment. The instability exists only at the boundary — and the boundary is maintained.

FIG. 1A — SPACETIME CURVATURE MODEL (ISOMETRIC VIEW)

At the geometric center of the facility operates the Pi Engine — a computational system of unknown origin that continuously calculates the decimal expansion of π. The calculation has no terminal condition. It does not converge. It does not stop.
The relationship between the Engine's output and the wormhole's stability is not fully understood. What is understood is empirical: when the calculation proceeds, the curvature holds. The interior remains accessible. Reality, as experienced by personnel within the facility, continues.
If the calculation were to cease — for any reason, at any point — the curvature condition would fail. The wormhole would collapse. The interior volume would compress to a singularity. This outcome is irreversible.
Cessation of calculation → curvature failure → wormhole collapse → singularity formation. No evacuation protocol exists.
Do Not Interrupt the Calculation.
The Core Is Not Approached.
Arrival Is Not Discussed.
These protocols are not advisory. They are structural. Deviation from any of the above does not constitute a violation of policy. It constitutes a threat to the continued existence of the facility and all personnel within it.
